Ninja TD App Reviews

Great TD game. It has very visually appealing graphics that look a lot like the style of graphics from fieldrunners. The gameplay is fun and fast-paced but a little difficult at times. Be ready to repeat a level 4-5 times before you get a good strategy going to beat it (I have to and Ive been playing TDs since starcraft). However there are 3 difficulty levels and ive been playing on medium difficulty. The controls, again, are a lot like fieldrunners, click and drag a tower to place it, and click on a placed tower to either upgrade or sell it. The pathes are previously set so there are no oportunities to maze so you have to deal with what you have. There is a great variety of towers and spells which create opportunities for multiple strategies with which to beat levels. All in all, its a great game if youre looking for a good tower defence to play.

Real nice game but I fined it difficult after first update better but I only buy all the games. Im not good at them good work on this game could be number 1

I have played a lot of td games and this is one of my favorite. Get it before the price goes up.

Tds are my fav games but the difficulty setting on this just blows Not only that. Tds are only fun when you can place many towers and weapons on the field. This game you basically put like 5 and youre done on difficulty level 1! I dont even want to imagine what 2 and 3 are like. Save your money. Load times for the game is garbage too.

A standout TD game based on the visuals alone. Gameplay is simple and effective.

I cannot comprehend why you would not update this for bigger screens.

Dear developers, Please continue the development of this amazing App. Great graphics, strategy and gameplay (even for a 6 year old App)... We cant wait for a new release!!!

Great colorful graphics, challenging gameplay. For starters you need to really try everything, using the yellow ninja and the yellow magic to farm for coins is a necessity in all but the beginning stages. The game really isnt that hard. Plenty of stages which are totally different to keep your interest here.

Its good but too damn hard. Give us more money so we can actually pass levels!

I tried out the lite version first and just got hooked. I havnt been this addicted to an iPhone game since Flight Control. If you like play tower defense type games, dont even hesitate to but this. And for .99, its a steal.

Almost everyone I know that has this game says the level one stage two in fire location is impossible to get past. I agree. Ive been trying to get past it for few days now and have tried every possible combination to get through. The developers really need to make it easier otherwise more and more people like me are going to get frustrated and just completely stop playing this game and recommending for people to buy it. I find it very frustrating to think that even on easy difficulty level, its practically impossible to get through. Isnt it supposed to be that on easy level, you should be able to get through it? Then why is it difficult to get past. Anyways, hope the developers read this and make the necessary changes to help individuals like me to be able to play and progress in the game.

I like the game, but after completing the first area, Im unable to continue my game. I have to start again from the very beginning.

But good games SHOULD be hard! Learn the strategies. Ive completed all but five stages on Level 2 difficulty, and most stages I had over 2000 gold left. Come on, people!

First, its not too hard. Im a blonde, and Im plowing through the levels. Ill give the tip a little further on. You cant beat the price, and Im really glad I got this the other day. If you liked Creeps, 7 Cities, Bloons TD, Elemental, Fieldrunners, etc., you cant pass this up. The reason some may be having a hard time is that it plays a little like Bloons, Besiegement, Elemental, in that there are special "magic" one-off weapons that are crucial to winning, beyond just simply building towers (or in this case, placing Ninjas). You begin with the green ninja (medium attacks, medium range) and purple (slows the enemy down and does a little damage). As you beat the first level in various maps, you unlock the other ninjas, and their magic powers. Blue has a wide attack, affects several units at once. Red has a hefty attack, wider than blue but needs to be facing enemy head on for best results. Yellow collects gold and mana - you need gold to buy upgrades and mana to use magic. Heres where strategy really comes into play. When you hit the lava village, things get difficult. At least they did for me. The key was to set up one strong ninja (I think it was probably still green at that point, but maybe red or blue) and use the YELLOW MAGIC which gets tons of money. Round one over, add another strong ninja that you can now afford, and put a yellow ninja in, too, where the enemies are dying, so you replenish you mana. Thats how you beat those difficult levels. You need to spend some mana at the start, and then at various strategic points as you go, so you can upgrade the ninjas, but still have mana left over to get you through the boss battles. I prefer the whirlwind...its cheapest and I can time it right. The bombs never worked for me. While there is a tutorial, Im not sure I really appreciated the importance of the yellow ninja or its magic until I hit that first hard level. You need the little yellow guy to stock up on mana and you need that and magic to get you through those bosses. With Wind, Sand, Fire, Ice and Thunder villages, each with 6 areas to start with, a second level of difficulty, and a third that for me is still locked, theres plenty of game for your money. Keep in mind that its not just about towers, but magic, too, and you should not only be fine, but youll have a blast, too. I love it when I find a game I cant put down!

Tepid and mediocre at best. I cant think of anything constructive to say except go play geo/swarm instead...

So I complained about not being able to get past lvl2 on fire map, but i got passed it after many tries. But definitely fell back into my top 5 iPhone games. Definitely a game worth getting. What ever the price. So yeah definitely get this if you like td games.

I cant resume my game after exiting! It makes me start from beginning every time. I have restarted phone, deleted and redownloaded...but still wont resume! I really like what Ive played so far but dont have time to sit and play through entire game! Plz fix and it will b awesome game! Thanks!

This is easily my favorite app for the iphone. Challenging yet very very addicting. Very much worth the money.

Another good TD game, lots of fun, good graphics and sound.
